About Music2Heal
September is Suicide Prevention Month, and a beloved Zionsville family has been working tirelessly to raise awareness and prompt much-needed dialogue and action around the topic of mental health.
In November of 2021, Zionsville residents Randy and Angie Eugenio lost their 19-year-old son Tate, who died by suicide. In 2023, inspired by Tate's love of music, they organized Music2Heal, a concert that brought together local musicians for an incredible night of music and healing. The event featured over 40 artists, hosted nearly 1,000 patrons, and raised more than $15,000 for community health organizations.
The success of the first concert inspired its return in 2024 & 2025.

Meet the Performers
Born in 2022 in the basements of Purdue University, Monaco Groove began to play small house shows in their local DIY music scene. Their cohesion and collaboration as musicians are the pillars to their creative process, which can be heard in their music. They will be sharing some of their original work as well as covers.

The Papercuts started in 2020 at ZCHS, and have been performing pop, rock, and Indie covers ever since. Now based at Purdue University, the current lineup features original members Peter Jalaie (drums) and Roméo Grégoire (vocals, guitar), along with Aaron Fisher (lead guitar) and, for this show, Matt Nelson (bass). The band is also featuring Anjali Gupta (vocals) and Mei Mei Rossi (violin) for a song. They’re grateful to be a part of tonight’s show and hope you enjoy!

3rd Street Collective is a six-piece genre-bending band that makes you feel like you're walking through a record store. You're gonna get some rock, rap, jazz, R&B, and soul all in one show. The band is made up of Grace O'Neil (Vox), TJ Ptak (Guitar/Vox), Jon Nelson (Drums), Jack White (Keys), Jascha Lewit (Bass), and Seth DeWhitt (Sax). 3rd Street met through the Purdue Jazz Program and quickly realized that they shared a love for more than just jazz. They were metal heads, jazz nerds, School of Rock kids, and crate diggers, so they put it all into their style. Since their founding in 2023, they've played over 50 shows throughout the Midwest. Their most recent accomplishment was opening for McKinley Dixon in St. Louis, and they are scheduled to open for Dreamer Isioma next month.

Grant Trammel & Laney Bertsch of Pocket Berries are a folk duo based in Indianapolis. What started as two friends playing music for the pure fun of it quickly grew into something more. In time, they began playing house shows in living rooms & back porches, cultivating a community around the songs they wrote. Their warm, whimsical sound fills a room with harmonies that wash over you and provide an aura of hope for the future. Drawing inspiration from songwriting greats like John Prine and Adrianne Lenker, their music is lived-in, honest, and ever hopeful. It pulls out the marrow of life and asks you to pay attention to it. Last fall in a Michigan cabin with some friends, the duo began recording their songs and bringing them to life thanks to a grassroots effort to raise recording funds. Two years in, the duo says they’re just getting started, and are humbled and full of joy to be playing here today at Music2Heal.

Laminar Flow is a Zionsville-based band known for its versatile sound. The group performs everything from jazz and pop to rock with energy and style. Rooted in the vibrant local music scene, members have been part of the renowned Zionsville show choir combo, bringing a high level of musicianship and performance experience to every stage.

Many members of the ZSI combo joined together to spread awareness about mental health and to share Tate's story through music. We brought this group together to play at the Music2Heal concert, hoping to perform in memory of Tate and keep this concert going in the future.

This year, Dylan Acquaviva, Avery Benner, Eva Branam, Maddie Callahan, Meredith Herbon, and Micah Hundley will perform the song “What I Did For Love” from A Chorus Line. These students are proud to represent the cast of Grease in ZCHS’s fall musical, which will be performed here at the STAR Bank Performing Arts Center November 13-16.
Currently working full-time in Indianapolis as a designer & illustrator, Rosie is also constantly performing music, whether solo or in a band. Rosie has been involved with Music2Heal since the very beginning, not only performing, but also designing and providing social media support for the event. She is incredibly excited to return for Music2Heal this year to remember her friend and bandmate, Tate, and to share an evening of music with talented people for the cause of mental health awareness.
Soren and Hadden both attend Noblesville High School and participate in the high school's top jazz band and enjoy performing in combos as well. Hadden is a junior who plays tennis, and Soren is a senior who runs cross country. Both are NHS singers.
Originally from Zionsville, Lainey attends Belmont University and is a Nashville-based indie/pop singer songwriter. Laney is pursuing her own artistry while finding joy in performing her favorite songs written by others. She began singing at a very young age, participated in Zionsville show choirs in high school, and has performed in the past two M2H concerts with a band called Remember June.
Cooper Burdick is a vocalist with a background in solo and ensemble singing, including experience in the a cappella group Bruin Harmony and music studies at UCLA. He loves to bring joy to others with his singing whenever possible.
Eva Branam is a senior at Zionsville High School who participates in the Zionsville Royalaires and is captain of the varsity dance team. She has a passion for performing and a love for the stage. Eva is thankful for the opportunity the Eugenio family has generously provided her and all of the performers, and is honored to be supporting a beautiful cause.
Zach Herbon is a talented singer and songwriter who was a former bandmate and close friend of Tate Eugenio. Zach says, “Tate and I had the exact same 5th and 6th grade schedules and were close until his death. Music was always a key component of our friendship, whether playing in a jazz band and combo together or just jamming on the piano. It unified our hearts in a way that not many things can.
Addie is also returning for her third year with Music2Heal. Addie is a sophomore at IU studying nursing with a minor in Spanish. She is involved in all-campus band playing trumpet and is a member of IU’s premiere all female acapella group, Ladies First. Addie would like to thank her mom and her sister for supporting all of her music endeavors, and she would like to thank the Eugenio family for this great opportunity to bring people together with music.
This is Anne’s third year performing as part of Music2Heal. She says she has absolutely loved being able to perform alongside such talented performers and supporting such an important cause. She hopes that all who are watching are able to recognize the healing power of music and know that they are truly not alone.
Claire Eugenio is proud to return to the Zionsville stage to honor her brother, Tate. After graduating from ZCHS in 2017, Claire went to Miami University where she majored in Music (B.A. Voice) and Marketing. Since then, Claire has been living in Northwest Arkansas working for Abbott and singing with SoNa Singers, TCNWA, and her church. Performance highlights include Zionsville Musicals (Laurey in Oklahoma! and Catherine in Pippin), Zionsville Show Choir (Royalaires and Choralaires), Miami University Opera Theatre (Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro), and singing backup for Kelly Clarkson (2012 Super Bowl) and Josh Groban (2022).
Claire thanks everyone who has ever attended Music2Heal, and hopes that they check in on their friends, family, and neighbors. Love to Mom, Dad, Phoebe, Lily, Grant, and especially Tate.
